Cara Montagna is the season of Radio GAMeC produced in 2025 within the scope of the editorial projects of Thinking Like a Mountain - The Orobie Biennial, the cultural program promoted by GAMeC to activate a shared path of artistic experiences and reflections on the themes of sustainability, the relationship with the environment, and forms of collectivity. Curated and produced by radio author Ilaria Gadenz and conceived together with curator Valentina Gervasoni, the series developed as a podcast in five episodes, distributed on RaiPlay Sound. The project proposes a reinterpretation of the mountain landscape as a complex and interconnected ecosystem, overcoming a purely naturalistic vision to restore its cultural, social, and political dimension. The sound recordings, collected along the trails of the Orobie, intertwine with the voices of researchers, artists, anthropologists, geographers, and mountain experts. From this, a choral story is born that explores the relations between territories and communities — human and more-than-human — offering new perspectives on the way in which we inhabit and imagine contemporary mountain environments.
